In the last two years, it’s impossible to think of another British band who have emerged with more infectious and distinctive rock songs than Kids In Glass Houses. Bursting out of South Wales’ hotbed of talent in early 2007, the charismatic quintet found a large and loyal fanbase almost instantly thanks to their huge songs, tireless worth ethic, charming demeanors and stylish aesthetic, and media support to match. Kerrang! Magazine named them one of ‘The Hottest New Bands On The Planet’ in 2007; they won the Welsh Music Award for ‘Best New Band’ the same year and they were named Punktastic’s ‘Band Of The Year’ in 2008. Truly, Kids In Glass Houses have become an essential part of the UK’s musical landscape and their upcoming second full-length ‘DIRT’ will only serve to solidify their place there.

After performing at last year's BBC Electric Proms, 2009 looks like a good year for indie-rock boys General Fiasco. Following supports with The Wombats and The Enemy the 3-piece from South Derry are virtually an unstoppable force playing SXSW, two shows at Camden Crawl, not to mention arena size venues supporting Snow Patrol.
