The City Lightz sound has been a genre hard to pin point. The drums usually have a similar feel to 'You Me at Six' or '30 Seconds to Mars' where as the guitar tends to have a lighter more 'Bombay Bicycle Club' feel. Yet with the vocals there is a sense feel of 'Jamie T's swagger, but with more melodic soulful singing and held notes.

The Scribers are a four-piece alternative/dark indie band hailing from Birmingham that take influence from the Arctic monkeys, Jamie T and heavier artists such as Memphis May Fire.
